Bitter gourd is one of the most popular vegetables on earth. However, not all people especially children, love to eat this vegetable due to its taste. As what the name itself suggest, bitter gourd, it definitely tastes bitter. But for me, bitter gourd is one of my most favorite vegetables in the planet. You can just simply add it together with egg and it will make you feel like another serving of this delicious dish.
PREPARATION:
You need to wash the leaves thoroughly and cut it into small pieces. For every six tablespoon of leaves of bitter gourd put two glasses of water. It makes a ratio of 6:2 of bitter gourd and water. You need to bring to boil the combination in fifteen minutes in a casserole. You have to make sure to not cover it. Let it stay to cool down for few hours and then you drain.
Drink one-third cup of the mixture giving an allowance of thirty minutes before every meal and it should be taken three times a day.
If you want to use it for problems like cuts, skin disease or burns all you have to do is to take few pieces of leaves of bitter gourd, wash it thoroughly the slightly place it to be heated over a stove and directly apply on affected area of the skin right away. Make sure that the heat is tolerable.
This natural treatment was known and had been practiced by our ancestors centuries ago. It was proven to be very effective way back then and even now. So if you are considering a healthy living lifestyle then add bitter gourd to be one on top of your list.
